BSC Level 2 Certificate in Fire Risk Assessment
Taking place on 20 May 2008
Categories: Business and careers, Training and learning
Description:

Objectives

Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005(in Scotland the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005), which became law on 1 October 2006, it will no longer be the fire service’s duty to make sure the workplace is safe. That duty will lie with the “responsible person” and they will be held accountable under the new legislation. The level 2 certificate in Fire Risk Assessment provides formal recognition of the individual’s ability to undertake a fire risk assessment in line with the Health and Safety executive’s guidance. Accredited by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) at level 2 in the national qualifications framework.
