English summary:

The Mairi Mhor Gaelic Song Fellowship was established by Highland Council early last year, in collaboration with HI-Arts, Feisean nan Gaidheal, CNAG, SALE and SAC, to develop and encourage participation in Gaelic Song activites throughout the Highlands. According to the Fellow, Fiona Mackenzie, the Fellowship aims to be a reference point for anyone across the world,  who requires information on any aspect of Gaelic Song.

Fiona spends time teaching in schools and conducting workshops as well as working on new Gaelic Song publications and recordings and establishing Community Singing groups.  Fiona also delivers song lectures throughout the Highlands on the great Skye Bardess, Mairi Mhor nan Oran herself.
