Makers of the Month
Every month we feature makers from throughout the Highlands and Islands, many of whom are at the start of their careers and others who have been makers for several years, with experience of residencies, exhibitions and how it is to run a business. Some of those featured have also received awards from the HI-Arts Makers Award Scheme. We hope that these features will be of interest and may inspire makers to apply for the awards scheme too.
For March 2010 we are featuring two makers from the Western Isles.
This may be through attending a conference, purchasing new equipment, training and preparing for an exhibition. If you have a project you would like to discuss or an idea you think may be appropriate for the Makers Award Scheme then please feel free to contact HI-Arts on craft@hi-arts.co.uk |
